From the Orlando Sentinel: The Seminole County, Fla., School Board has ordered troubled Cyber High Charter School to close. The board decided that precarious finances and uncertified teachers warranted ending the school's tumultuous two-year run. The campus, housed in a renovated Sanford, Fla., skating rink, will be shut down Friday.

From the Miami Herald: A judge has issued an injunction that allows Spiral Tech, a charter elementary school closed by the Miami-Dade school district for building and insurance problems, to reopen. Judge Norman Gerstein said the district didn't give the school proper notice of its violations.
