Students at two elementary schools in the Palm Beach County (Fla.) district got a sneak peak at their new campuses as district officials invited the public to check out the rebuilt facilities.
The Palm Beach Post reports that Glade View Elementary in Belle Glade and Rosenwald Elementary in South Bay have been rebuilt and are ready to welcome students when classes resume next month.
Students at each school have been housed in temporary locations for three years while the aging existing facilities were razed and new classrooms were constructed.
Rosenwald was built in 1951. The replacement campus cost about $19 million. Glade View was built in 1964 and its replacement cost about $23 million respectively.
