Brian Cassil, ASAI, LEED AP BD+C, is principal and director of communications with Architectural Nexus, Inc. InHabit, a program developed as a partnership between Sustain3 and Architectural Nexus, addresses occupant engagement for energy conservation and other sustainable initiatives on campuses.

Ample daylight fills this maker space, which was created by adjoining to a previously built science education facility. Tall ceilings with accompanying clerestory glass and light shelves work in concert with carefully designed, installed, and maintained daylight sensors that automatically dim electrical lighting to minimize energy use.
