Central Bucks East High School in line for $35 million upgrade

The Central Bucks (Pa.) district is planning a $35 million renovation and expansion of Central Bucks East High School in Doylestown that will emphasize sustainable design strategies. The addition is expected to feature green technology, such as geothermal heating, a green roof, solar arrays, energy-efficient light fixtures, light-powered sinks and waterless urinals. Skylights and windows will be installed in the existing portion of the high school to admit more natural light into the building.
