San Marcos school board passes resolution spelling out environmentally friendly construction policies

The San Marcos (Calif.) Unified School District has reasserted its commitment to building energy-efficient and environmentally friendly schools. The green efforts will include bringing daylight into classrooms by using windows and skylights; improving air circulation to diminish the need for air conditioning and heaters; and keeping storm water on site.
