A baseball coach at a Florida high school and his wife were electrocuted at the school's athletic complex when the truck he was driving struck an overhead power line.
The Tallahassee Democrat reports that Corey Crum, 39, and his wife, Shana Crum, 41, died Sunday afternoon at the Liberty County High School Athletic Complex in Bristol, Fla.
Crum was helping install large concrete pilings at the complex when the accident occurred. His wife rushed to his aid and was electrocuted as well.
Their 14-year-old son, Chase, also tried to help and was shocked, but survived. He was treated a a hospital and released.
Crum, who works in the construction business and as head baseball coach at the high school, was helping to refurbish the baseball field, which was heavily damaged during Hurricane Michael.
He was in his first year as head coach. Shana Crum worked as health aide at Hosford School.
