Driven by $211 million in current and anticipated funding, Radford University in Radford, Va., is moving ahead with numerous construction projects to upgrade its campus.

The university has planned a $44 million facility for the College of Business and Economics building that, for the first time, will enable all business classes, faculty and related research to be situated in the same building.

Another major project underway is a $37 million building for the College of Science and Technology that will integrate information technology, and math and science programs that now are housed among four separate buildings.

Other upgrades in the works for the Radford campus: construction of three new residence halls; a new $32 million student fitness center; a $20 million addition to the Bonnie Hurlburt Student Center; and a new parking deck.
