A 6-year-old kindergartner in Maine sustained minor injuries after he was trapped in the door of a school bus and dragged nearly 600 feet.
The boy was riding home Thursday from Buxton Center Elementary School in Buxton when his backpack got caught in the door of the bus as he tried to get off the vehicle.
He was dragged nearly 600 feet at low speed, reports WMTW-TV. The student was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The other 29 students on the bus were not injured, but they were transferred to another bus to be taken home.
