Ohio governor: Let’s spend $1.1 billion on education projects

Ohio Gov. John Kasich has proposed a $2.4 billion state construction budget that would allocate more than $1 billion for school repairs and construction.

The bill, introduced this week, calls for spending $675 million on primary and secondary schools and $450 million on public colleges and universities, the Associated Press reported. The money would be spent on repairs, renovations and new construction.
