New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has appointed a 32-year-old education strategist as superintendent of state-run school system in Camden. The Philadelphia Inquirer says Paymon Rouhanifard will be oversee the Camden district in its first school year under full state control. Rouhanifard has been working as chief strategy and innovation officer for the Newark public schools. He also served as chief of staff to the deputy chancellor in the New York City district.
