"It's a relief to finally reach an agreement to sell Manor Park," Harris says. "We've been doing our best to maintain the property, but we don't like buildings to sit vacant."

Constructed in 1975, Manor Park closed as an elementary school in the late 1980s. It was then used for pre-kindergarten programs for many years but for the past several years has only been used "sparingly" for storage, Harris says.

Real estate listings show the district had previously sought $750,000 for the property.
