Rural Arkansas school districts to get broadband (with video)

Arkansas governor Mike Beebe and state lawmakers passed a bill that will help rural school districts get broadband internet access.

Arkansas governor Mike Beebe and state lawmakers passed a bill that will help rural school districts get broadband internet access. The state will authorize a $5 million matching-grant program to be funded by a one-time transfer from general state funds to the education fund.
