Audit accuses Palm Beach County (Fla.) district of lax construction oversight

Report says as much as $15.7 million may have been allocated inappropriately

From The South Florida Sun-Sentinel: A audit in the Palm Beach County (Fla.) School District accuses administrators of lax oversight of two large construction projects and identifies as much as $15.7 million in possibly "inappropriate and incorrect payments" to contractors. Officials strongly denied any waste of taxpayer money.
