The state of New Mexico has disbursed $97 million to help districts throughout the state design and build public schools, the Associated Press reported. The localities will also contribute about $91 million in matching funds toward the work. Additionally, 10 districts will receive $7.4 million for school roof work and 95 charter schools were awarded $14.3 million to go toward leases.
