June 16, 2014

The Michigan Legislature has approved a $65 million expansion of its pre-K program, giving access to an additional 10,000 4-year-olds in the state’s Great State Readiness Program, Bridge Magazine reported. This is in addition to a $65 million expansion last year. The program offers free pre-K education to children from low-to-moderate income families.
