Philadelphia-area colleges and universities to see tuition increases

Philadelphia area college and universities have announced tuition and fee increases, which in some cases will exceed $60,000 a year.

Just when you thought college prices couldn’t possibly get any higher Philadelphia area college and universities have announced tuition and fee increases, which in some cases will exceed $60,000 a year, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Both Haverford College and the University of Pennsylvania will increase their fees by 3.9 percent to $61, 564 and $61,132, respectively, for the 2014-15 school year. Bryn Mawr College will increase its tuition and fees to $59,890, followed by Swarthmore at $59,610, and Princeton at $55,440.
