From The Memphis Commercial Appeal: A citizen panel has recommended that six Memphis City public schools be taken over by charter operators, beginning next fall. The schools: Caldwell-Guthrie, Cherokee, Hanley, Klondike and Shannon elementariesand Corry Middle.
