Michigan governor vetoes concealed carry bill

Bill would have allowed concealed weapons inside schools
Dec. 18, 2012

From The Detroit Free Press: Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder has vetoed a bill that would have allowed gun owners with extra training to carry their concealed weapons in schools, day care centers, churches and stadiums. In a veto letter, Snyder says the bill had a fatal loophole that didn’t allow schools or other institutions to opt out of the law's provisions and prohibit weapons in their buildings.
