Illinois announces $623 million awarded for school construction

Projects in 31 districts have been approved, state says

From The Springfield State Journal-Register: Thirty-one Illinois school districts will get about $623 million in capital funds to update and repair schools, Gov. Pat Quinn has announced. The largest amount, $114.7 million, will go to Chicago, the state's largest school system.
