New facility will triple existing spectator capacity.

The Rusk (Texas) school district is planning to build a new high school gymnasium. The district says the new gym will cost between $2.5 million and $3.5 million. Officials hope to have the new gym ready by November 2008, in time for the basketball season. The architect is Goodwin Lasiter.
