In New York City, Queens bears the brunt of crowded schools

Two-thirds of the city's 5,100 overcrowded classrooms are in Queens

From The New York Daily News: More than half of New York City's 6,749 overcrowded classes this year are in the borough of Queens, according to a recent survey by the United Federation of Teachers. Queens had 3,429 of the city's 5,146 oversized high school classes.
