Palm Beach County (Fla.) district to replace faulty fire alarms

Immediate replacement needed at Wellington high school

The fire alarm system at Wellington (Fla.) High School is dangerously close to failing, prompting the need for an emergency $1.5 million replacement, Palm Beach County district school officials say. Degraded fire alarm systems at Spanish River High in Boca Raton and Santaluces High west of Lantana also are to be swapped out in the next school year.
