District in West Sacramento seeks $59 million bond

Washington Unified would use the money to expand elementary schools.

The Washington Unified School District in West Sacramento, Calif., will place a $59 million bond proposal on the Nov. 6 ballot. The money would help the district add seventh- and eighth-grade classes to elementary schools and build a performing arts center at a high school already under construction.
