From The Charlotte Observer: The Charlotte-Mecklenburg (N.C.) School Districtis ready to launch construction on a new school in Huntersville that will relieve crowding at Torrence Creek Elementary in 2013-14. Torrence Creek has more than 1,200 students in a school built for about 800. It has used mobile classrooms to extend its capacity since it opened in 2005.
