University in Austin, Texas, unveils plans for new campus
Concordia University in Austin, Texas, has unveiled a 30-year master plan that will guide the school as it moves its campus from downtown Austin to Northwest Travis County. The plan calls for a 389-acre campus organized into three districts--a "student learning village" with classrooms and laboratories, a second cluster with a library, a student center and a possible performing arts center, and a third area with student housing. Officials with the private Lutheran university say the move to the new campus is scheduled for the summer of 2008.
