Whitehall (Mich.) district seeks approval of scaled-back bond request

$11.6 million proposal is about half of what voters rejected last year

Voters in theWhitehall (Mich.) district are being asked on May 4 to approve a $11.6 million bond proposal. The request comes a year after voters turned down a $22 million bond proposal. The scaled-down proposal seeks $3.6 million for technology improvements in schools. It also would provide funds for athletic facility upgrades and repairs at several school campuses.
