Years of enrollment decline have left the district with many vacant campuses
From The Cincinnati Enquirer: Twelve former Cincinnati public schools and four parcels of vacant land will be offered at a public auction this week. The school system is selling off its stock of aging, surplus buildings as it nears the end of a decade-long, $1.2 billion rebuilding plan. It has rebuilt or renovated all its schools and permanently closed several as it downsized for its smaller population of 33,000 students.
