Ohio district hopes state aid will help rebuild high school destroyed by tornado

Deadly tornado demolishes Lake High School in Uniontown, Ohio

From The Toledo Blade: Lake High School in Uniontown, Ohio, has been destroyed by a deadly tornado. Lake Local School District officials say the high school is a total loss. A nearby middle school and elementary school also sustained damage from the weekend storm. State and school officials have initially turned their eyes to the Ohio School Facilities Commission for possible help in rebuilding. The high school graduation, which was scheduled for Sunday, was postponed and will be held at a community college in Toledo. One of those killed in the tornado was the father of the high school valedictorian.
