Three wounded in shooting at Hampton University residence hall

Former student shoots 2, then himself; all 3 survive

From The Virginian-Pilot: A former student at Hampton University in Hampton, Va., shot a residence hall manager and a pizza delivery driver inside a school dormitory early Sunday before turning the gun on himself, officials said. All three survived, and a suspect, who was armed with three handguns, was arrested. The residence hall manager, who was shot three times, has been released from an area hospital. The delivery driver and the suspect, age 18, remained in a hospital in stable condition. No students were injured in the shooting at Harkness Hall, an all-male housing facility.
