Despite extra-alarm fire on campus, Dallas high school is open

Fire damaged an administrative building on campus of Lincoln High School

A three-alarm fire on the Lincoln High School campus in Dallas was under control early Monday, and students began arriving for classes hours later. The fire was reported at about 5:30 a.m. in a grant writing office in the old Lincoln High School building, a facility adjacent to the high school that is now used mainly by administration. The fire caused about $75,000 in damage.
