School construction costs climb in San Antonio

Planned high school has a $102 million price tag.

Three years ago, voters in the Northside Independent School District in San Antonio approved a bond package that included a new high school for the jaw-dropping total price of $85 million. Today, that sounds like a bargain. Northside's got a campus on the drawing board now with a $102 million price tag, which will make it the most expensive high school ever built in Bexar County.
