Hopkinton Independent School closed abruptly earlier this month
From The Concord Monitor: Hopkinton Independent School, a private elementary school in Hopkinton, N.H., that closed its doors with a day's notice earlier this month, intends to file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, an attorney retained by the school board says. Meanwhile, the school's founder has demanded the school pay her the balance of a five-year consulting contract, and parents are set to meet with the state to discuss what happened to the school and what they can do to save it. The school had about 70 students.
