From The Iowa City Press-Citizen: The Iowa Board of Regents has approved $114 million in construction projects at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. The largest project is a $75 million makeover for the university’s 85-year-old student union. The Iowa Memorial Union one of the major buildings on campus that sustained severe damage in a 2008 flood.
