Wrongful death suit filed against New Jersey college

Family of student whose body was found in landfill says College of New Jersey failed to secure trash compactor
March 5, 2008

The family of John Fiocco Jr. has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the College of New Jersey in Ewing almost two years after the body of the freshman was found in a Pennsylvania landfill. State police investigating the student's disappearance in 2006 found blood in and around a trash compactor in Wolfe Hall, Fiocco's residence hall. The lawsuit asserts that the college failed to lock two doors leading to the trash compactor, or properly secure the hinged lids of the compactor.
