Bond votes fails in Yale (Mich.) district

$19 million proposal would have paid for additions at 3 schools.

Falling two votes short, the Yale (Mich.) district has failed to win approval of a $19.3 million bond proposal. The bonds would have paid for additions at the high school, the junior high school and an elementary school. The Nov. 6 vote was 897 opposed and 895 in favor; a subsequent recount confirmed the results.
