15-year-old pleads guilty in Tennessee school shooting

Kenneth Bartley Jr. admits to fatally shooting assistant high school principal in 2005.

A 15-year-old boy pleaded guilty today in the 2005 killing of a Tennessee high school official and wounding of two others. Under a plea deal announced after jury selection had begun, Kenneth Bartley Jr. agreed to plead guilty to one count of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted second-degree murder.
He was sentenced to 45 years in adult prison. The 2005 shootings at Campbell County Comprehensive High School killed Assistant Principal Ken Bruce and wounded assistant principal Jim Pierce and principal Gary Seale.
