Indianapolis cuts 300 teaching positions

From The Indianapolis Star: the Indianapolis Public School Board has eliminated 300 teaching jobs and 40 non-teaching jobs in a move designed to save about $25 million. The board also shuffled about 30 other teachers and administrators into lower-paying positions.
