EARLIER...from The Daily Oklahoman: Voters in the Guthrie (Okla.) School District will go to the polls on Aug. 24 to decide the fate of an $89.8 million bond issue. The bond would pay for construction of a new 1,200-student high school. The project also would include construction of a new gymnasium, tennis courts, a track, and soccer and softball fields. The existing high school would then become a middle school.
