Montana district seeks funds for athletic fields

$3.7 million would enable district to install synthentic turf, increase seating capacity
June 9, 2008

Voters in the Laurel (Mont.) district will be asked later this summer to consider a bond issue to rebuild the athletic field. The $3.687 million project would pay for a football and soccer field, likely with synthetic turf, a 10-lane synthetic running track and space for jumping and throwing events. Ballots will be mailed to 6,726 voters on Aug. 13 and may be returned until Sept. 4.
