Oregon district approves plan to open its first charter school

Spanish-immersion school is set to open in Beaverton next year

From The Portland Oregonian: The Beaverton (Ore.) School Board has approved plans to open the district's first charter school, a Spanish-immersion program. Arco Iris Spanish Immersion School plans to open its doors September 2010.
