Washington University in St. Louis has broken ground on an energy, environmental engineering and biomedical engineering building on its Danforth Campus. The 150,875-square-foot facility is scheduled for completion in 2010 and will serve as home for the School of Engineering's Department of Energy, Environmental & Chemical Engineering and will share facilities with the university's Department of Biomedical Engineering.
