Cleveland State University scrambles for repair funds

School has no funds to carry out $24 million in needed facility upgrades

From The Cleveland Plain Dealer: Cleveland State University, faced with pending state budget cuts and no state money for capital improvements, is scrambling to find the $24 million needed to make critical facility repairs on campus. Those projects include an $8.5 million upgrade of 85-year-old Stillwell Hall, A $2.5 million facelift for the Physical Education Building, a $3.6 million roof replacement for the Main Classroom Building and a $1 million asbestos abatement effort in Rhodes Tower.
