Sept. 9, 2011

News release: The Oregon University System has broken ground on what will be the state’s largest solar photovoltaic power program and the largest solar contract in the nation for a public university system on multiple campuses. The project – called Solar By Degrees – will begin installation of a total of 27 acres of solar panels generating almost 5 megawatts of power at Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls, Oregon State University in Corvallis, and Eastern Oregon University in La Grande. Eventually all seven system campuses will have solar arrays.
