Recount in Claremont (N.H.) district turns bond victory to defeat

New tally shows $22.9 million request fell short of 60 percent majority

FromWPTZ-TV: A recount has overturned the results in the Claremont (N.H.) district and shows that voters defeated a $22.9 million bond request earlier this month. Initial results indicated that the plan to revitalize Stevens High School reached the required 60 percent majority by two votes. A recount a week later shows it failed by one vote.
