New Jersey says it has strictest safety standards for school buses

Inspectors require thousands of repairs before they let vehicles back in service

From The Newark Star-Ledger: New Jersey takes nearly 10,000 of its 23,000 school buses off the road each year for repairs, upholding what Motor Vehicle Commission chief administrator Raymond Martinez says are the strictest school bus safety standards in the nation.
