Former Washington, D.C., schools chancellor starts reform group

Michelle Rhee will be CEO of StudentsFirst
News release: Michelle Rhee, former chancellor of Washington, D.C., Public Schools, has announced the launch of StudentsFirst, a national movement to defend the interests of children in public education and pursue reform. StudentsFirst says it is designed to mobilize parents, teachers, students, administrators, and citizens throughout the country to channel their energy to produce meaningful results on the local and national level. Rhee will serve as the organization’s CEO.
