Peru (Ill.) district plans new middle school

Design phase completed for new facility.

The Peru (Ill.) district has wrapped up the design phase of its plans for a new middle school. The library will be situated in a central hub, anchoring two wings of classrooms that jut out. The library will be illuminated with skylights.The outside of the building will be a mix of earth-tone russet and tan bricks. The architect is Healy, Bender & Associates.
