Oklahoma district seeks bonds for facility upgrades

Cherokee voters will decide on $1.18 million package.

Voters in the Cherokee (Okla.) school district will decide on Sept. 11 whether to approve a $1.18 million bond package. The money would pay for district roof replacements, a geothermal heating and ventilation system at the high school and a seven-lane, all-purpose track.
