John Deasy says police should have told school officials that the victim had been threatened

From The Los Angeles Times: Los Angeles School Supt. John Deasy is criticizing police for failing to notify school officials about potential danger from a student accused of fatally stabbing his former girlfriend at a district high school. Abraham Lopez, 18, has been charged with fatally stabbing 17-year-old Cindi Santana. The lunchtime attack last week at South East High School came just days after Lopez was arrested for allegedly making threats against the girl and her family. Deasy says police should have shared that information with school officials.
