New solar array installed at University of San Diego

5,000 photovoltaic panels will provide 15 percent of school's energy needs

From San Diego Union-Tribune: The University of San Diego is celebrating a new 1.23 megawatt solar system on campus. The installation will reduce the amount of power the university gets off the grid by 15 percent. There are 5,000 photovoltaic panels on nine buildings.
